Description
Y-Strainer (Y-type filter) is a highly efficient and durable pipe accessory, widely used in liquid, gas or steam transportation systems to remove impurities from the medium and protect the normal operation of key equipment such as valves, pumps and instruments. Its name comes from its shape resembling a "Y", compact structure, small space occupation, and ease of installation and maintenance.
The Y-type filter is mainly composed of a shell, a filter screen, a drain port and a cover plate. The filter screen is made of stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant metal materials, featuring excellent pressure resistance and corrosion resistance. According to the usage requirements, the mesh size can be customized to ensure that the filtration accuracy meets the system requirements. When the medium passes through the filter, impurities are intercepted on the filter screen, while the clean fluid continues to flow, effectively enhancing the operational efficiency and service life of the system.
